The Magic Bean Company
The Magic Bean Company was established in 1994 at my kitchen table in an apartment in Los Angeles, California. Since then it has grown and evolved from one item to (give or take) forty five items, and from that tiny kitchen table to a large space in a converted bakery warehouse, and presently to my converted garage/workshop in my home in Valley Glen, California.
My work encompasses hand painted and textural designs on Glass, crystal, acrylic and mixed metals with the use of textural paints, vintage images, assorted crystal and vintage jewels including broken vintage jewelry. Each item is functional as well as a one of a kind signed collectible item.
I sell my work to fine craft galleries across the USA, Canada, London (Fortnum & Mason), & Japan, as well as high-end boutique stores, and through my website.
I received my B.A. from San Diego State as a Drama major and literature minor. My reason for moving to Los Angeles (east coast girl to start) was to pursue an acting career which I presently still make a living at as well with several national and regional commercials, episodic and soap opera roles under my belt.
The Magic Bean Company is my day job, my creative signature, my soul food and a voice to my creative longings.
